Chlo's Cat Care – Terms & Conditions
These terms are designed to keep everything clear, fair, and in the best interests of your cats, your home, and our
service. By booking with Chlo’s Cat Care, you agree to the following:
Services & Visits
- Each visit lasts up to 30 minutes and is tailored to your cat’s needs. This may include food and water top-ups, feeding area cleaning, litter tray scooping, timer bowl setup, and fuss (if your cat wants it!).
- We offer one visit per day. While we cannot guarantee specific time slots, most visits take place between 6am–6pm.
Bookings & Payment
- A booking is confirmed once a 50% deposit has been received.
- The remaining balance is due by the first day of service (or in full before the first visit if agreed otherwise).
- Prices will be quoted at the time of booking and confirmed in writing.
Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations made 48+ hours before the first visit will receive a full refund of the deposit.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the first visit are non-refundable.
- If you return home earlier than planned, no refunds are given for unused visits as this time has been reserved for you.
Access & Security
- You must provide safe and secure home access (keys or codes).
- Keys are stored securely and returned at the end of services unless kept on file for future bookings.
- If keys are lost in transit, you will be notified immediately and we will assist in arranging a replacement.
Pet Health & Emergencies
- You must provide up-to-date vet details and an emergency contact.
- Medication will be administered as directed.
- If your cat becomes unwell, we will attempt to contact you or your emergency contact. If unreachable, we will arrange veterinary care at your cost as part of our duty of care.
- If I become unwell and cannot carry out the visits, I will do my best to arrange another trusted, insured, and DBS-checked cat sitter to cover. If this is not possible, you will need to arrange for a family member or friend to step in.
- We cannot accept bookings for cats with contagious illnesses that may put other animals at risk.
Behaviour & Safety
- We cannot be held responsible for injury, loss, or death if your cat has outdoor access or is allowed outside during our care.
- Aggressive or unsafe behaviour may result in services being stopped for the safety of all involved.
- We are not responsible for your cat’s behaviour while you are away.
House Care & Pests
- Your home will always be treated with respect. We will lock up after each visit and follow your instructions.
- We do not deal with pests (mice, rats, frogs, birds, etc.) brought in by your cat. If needed, pest control will be contacted at your cost.
- We are not liable for issues caused by events beyond our control (e.g., break-ins, power cuts, weather damage).
Photographs & Updates
- Photos may be taken during visits for your updates.
- We may use non-identifying photos for marketing purposes unless you request otherwise.
Liability
- We are fully insured and DBS checked.
- We accept no liability for damage or loss caused by your pets, or by others entering your property during the booking period.
Agreement
By confirming your booking, you agree that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
